The Nucleus Foundation was created in 2007 under an initiative of GTZ to sustain the interventions and approaches successfully tried out for the promotion of micro, small and medium enterprises across 7 provinces, 17 districts and among 6000 entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.
Since then we have provided services to many agencies and enterprises across Sri Lanka and Asia including Donors, Projects, INGOs, NGOs and the Private Sector.
We have adapted our approaches to suit the context of each project, program and service we carry out and through the years we have carved out a niche for ourselves within the development sector in Sri Lanka. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and our aptitude to bring on grass roots level experiences to the attention of all stakeholders ensuring that the solutions that are crafted and carried out are practical, holistic and sustainable.
Registered as a not for profit company we manage and implement Projects, design and carry out Training programs and undertake Research on various development related topics.
